The City of Dana Point has 23 beautiful parks available for use by the public. You are welcome to utilize the City’s parks without charge or reservation, on first-come, first-served basis. If you wish to use a City park for such events as a wedding, large group picnic or gathering

Capistrano Beach

Enjoy volleyball, basketball and other beach activities. During the summer months, a concession building offers fishing gear rental and sales, food and beverages, and beach supplies.

Dana Strand Beach

The City of Dana Point is characterized by its seven miles of prominent coastal bluffs and scenic rolling hills along the Pacific Ocean. County, State and private beaches adorn the coastline, including world-famous surfing spots such as Dana Strands.

Monarch Beach

Monarch Beach is named after its most prominent geological feature “Monarch Bay” aptly named as its rolling hills of Sagebrush and Manzanita were once a breeding ground for the Monarch Butterfly.

Monarch Beach Golf Links

Few golf experiences can match the blend of stunning natural beauty and variety of challenges presented at Monarch Beach Golf Links. Aliso & Wood Canyons Regional Park

Aliso & Wood Canyons Regional Park offers approximately 4,000 acres of wilderness and natural open space land with hiking, mountain biking, and equestrian use. The Park is located at the south end of the Laguna Greenbelt. Its canyons harbor a pastoral feel unmatched in Orange County. Favored with petroglyphs etched by native people, Aliso & Wood Canyons are natural wonders.

Aliso Beach

Aliso Beach offers an area for swimming, surfing and stand up paddle boarding. You can also enjoy fishing or exploring the tide pools. A concession stand offers rentals for fishing, food and beverages and other beach supplies. 31131 South Pacific Coast Highway.

Aliso Viejo Country Club

Aliso Viejo Country Club features one of only two private Nicklaus Design golf courses in Orange County. With some of the best holes of golf and some of the best views in the Orange County area, the par-72 course at Aliso Viejo Country Club leaves nothing to be desired, and offers an appropriate level of play for all skill levels. Both challenging from the back tees at over 6,500 yards and forgiving from the forward tees, the course at Aliso Viejo Country Club is uniquely appealing to the low-handicap golfer as well as the less experienced golfer.

Since 1976, Aventura Sailing has offered the best in bareboat and skippered charters and sailing instruction. We’ll teach you how to sail, and keep you sailing! We also offer dinghies, kayaks and paddleboards to enjoy in the beautiful Dana Point Harbor and beyond.

A favorite of Orange County golfers, this Arthur Hills-designed par 72 layout stretches up to 6,756 challenging yards and incorporates several water features including a stunning waterfall off the 18th green, slight elevation changes, rolling hills, strategic bunkering and the incredible vistas.
